Friday Club on Virb

Monday, May 21st, 2007

Virb is the latest social networking site on the scene. It is Myspace, done right. Beautiful templates right off the bat, and much more customisable if you’re into that kinda thing. Conversely, if you visit someone’s page that looks like a bad car accident, you can also click on “remove customization” and get back to the default styles.

If you’re already on Virb, join the Friday Club group!

P.S My Virb Profile is “jonathanpoh”.

Flickr?

Thursday, May 17th, 2007

Anybody use Flickr at all? I’m just thinking, instead of putting FC photos in the gallery on this site, perhaps we could upload them on to Flickr and add them to a common photo pool, basically a shared album? Sound off in the comments below what you think of this idea.

Photos from the last Friday Club at Cabinet are now up in the Gallery section, courtesy of the lovely Stephanie who not only comes to Friday Club every single time, but also remembers to bring a camera and takes some pics for us! Thanks Steph!

AD’dict 2007

Monday, May 14th, 2007

Friday Club is going arty-farty and if you want a dose of culture, we’re going to ACMI at Fed Square for AD’dict, 90 minutes of cool and quirky French adverts with English subtitles, followed by a French cheese and wine cocktail party. AD’dict is organised by FACCI Junior, of whom some of their members are Friday Club regulars. Thanks guys!

Please note there is a cost to this event and you’d have to buy your ticket from the ACMI box office.

Looks like a great venue some people who’ve been highly recommend it.
